The Young at Heart is a community social group for men and women over the age of 45. Day trips and a wide range of entertainment and activities can be enjoyed.

St. John's Parish has 3 churches catering for the Catholic Community. Church of St. John the Evangelist, Kilkenny, Church of Most Holy Trinity, Dunmore and Church of St. John the Bapist, Johnswell. 

St. John's Parish strives to make a community of true christian people who try to live by the four  core values of the gospel: love, compassion, support and acceptance.
